Lorena Grippa started Maitea because of a deep passion for jewelry and, after learning to work with metals and precious stones next to a master jeweler, she launched her first collection in May 2016.

Her pieces are all hand-made and their minimalist look comes from a careful attention to detail mixed with a special regard for the irregularities that are found in nature.
